I lost roughly one-third of my household income six months ago, and have managed to always make my mortgage payments on time. However, I am now starting to feel a financial pinch from month to month. Do you have any programs to help, and if so, how do I qualify?
Unexpected events can happen to anyone at anytime. Losing income can be a frightening experience; however, you've managed to stay current on your mortgage obligation, and that speaks volumes of your commitment to manage your finances.
To answer your question, LGFCU has a Financial Wellness Program to help members manage their own finances. The only qualification for participating is membership with LGFCU. This service is designed to help members create individualized financial plans to navigate the road ahead. These plans may help you improve budgeting techniques, review credit reports and address delinquent history, attack debt or save for retirement.
A holistic view of your financial picture is needed to accurately assess your situation. The end result is a comprehensive personal financial overview that will address your individual concerns. LGFCU's Financial Wellness staff is available 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to help determine your overall financial standing, as well as offer pointers on how you can achieve your financial goals.
